East Sussex Wedding Photographer Caroline and John

What a fabulous wedding!

Mid summer’s day was blessed with absolutely amazing weather which was perfect for a celebration set in Crowlink in the beautiful South Downs just east of Eastbourne. After meeting Caroline and john at their breathtaking home, i had been really looking forward to covering their wedding day.

My day started with documenting the setting for the wedding, the stunning grounds of their home and the other suppliers hard at work at they made the couple’s vision a reality. Then i drove a couple of miles to the magical Belle Toute Lighthouse where Caroline and the bridesmaids were waiting.

After a few images featuring the panoramic views from the cliff top, i followed their car to Crowlink to capture their arrival.

The ceremony took place in the garden with all their closest friends and family in attendance to witness the marriage. Then followed drinks and canapes before the wedding breakfast was announced. This was held in a marquee in the natural amphitheatre behind the main house.

After the dinner and some heart felt speeches, i took Caroline and John off for a few minutes to create some relaxed images of them together in the meadow.

As the light softened into the evening i also took the handful of relaxed family group shots before the party really kicked off.

The cake cutting and dancing to a live band took place in their studio. The band were joined by John and his sons for a few numbers.

I then spent the late evening creating images showing the magical atmosphere in the gardens as well as some sunset images to mark the end of a very special day.

I love weddings like this where i am given free licence to re create the atmosphere and really tell the story of the day,
